01 Challenge
Weenect offers a wide range of GPS trackers, which allow for precise real-time geolocation. With Weenect, you will always know where your pets or family members are. The company has long had a range of mobile apps which allow users to control the trackers and set various parameters for their performance.

However, the reception of this original software posed a problem. User experience in particular was a very important issue – one that could make or break the entire project. Eventually, Weenect turned to The Software House in order to reinvent its iOS application.

02 Solution
At the beginning, the client presented its own idea regarding UI and UX of the mobile application. Together, we engaged in a creative debate, which resulted in significant changes to the original design. Thanks to that, the finished app sported a true, native iOS look. Most of navigation is done using simple maps. One could easily switch between trackers and targets.

The app was very well-received by the client. To the point that we were soon tasked with creating a new Android app, as well as a web application. The web version was made with React (based on existing backend). A total of 7 people (3 for the mobile apps and 4 for the web version) worked on the project. Thanks to careful planning and thorough understanding of the client’s business needs, we were able to deliver all the software on time and exceed expectations in terms of quality.

03 Effect
The main reason why the client was particularly impressed with our performance is how much we really wanted to help them make the best possible product. Rather than simply implementing the original idea, we continued to suggest our own ideas in order to make it more user-friendly, efficient and scalable. The client’s willingness to listen and compromise was also an extremely important factor for the project success. As a result, we both learned a whole lot. Thanks to this combined creativity, we created apps far superior to the original ones. In a short time, they were downloaded over 100 thousand times and averaged 4.5/5 in reviews.
