The Software House was chosen to accelerate frontend development and implement Storybook for Synerise's AI-powered marketing platform used by Microsoft, Carrefour, and other enterprise clients.

Synerise's machine learning-driven marketing tools attracted major enterprise clients faster than their internal team could deliver new features.

The growing client base needed more sophisticated dashboards and custom capabilities, but the development pace couldn't match demand.

They also needed to standardize their frontend components to keep the platform consistent as it scaled.

Partnership goal:

To build frontend capacity and implement Storybook to speed up delivery across all dashboards.

Synerise

Challenge

Synerise's AI and machine learning tools caught the attention of enterprise clients looking for sophisticated marketing automation.

As these big names signed on, they brought custom requirements and demanded rapid feature releases. The internal development team couldn't keep up.

Each new enterprise client meant new dashboard requirements. Without a standardized component library, different developers built similar elements in different ways.

This slowed development and created an inconsistent user experience across the platform.

Key challenges

-> To accelerate frontend development to match client acquisition pace

-> To build new dashboards and features for enterprise clients with specific needs

-> To build a marketing campaign planning module that lets users create campaigns across email, SMS, mobile, web push, landing page, RTB, dynamic content, and social media

-> To implement Storybook as an internal tool for all frontend developers

-> To create a component library that keeps the platform consistent

-> To establish best practices for using Storybook in ongoing development

The stakes

Enterprise clients like Microsoft and Carrefour expected constant innovation and quick feature delivery.

Any slowdown in development could hurt Synerise's competitive position and limit their ability to close new deals with demanding clients.

With the help of The Software House, the company added a lot of new features and implemented Storybook to improve both pace and consistency of development in the future.

Solution

The Software House assembled a dedicated frontend team of React specialists who could jump into the existing codebase and start delivering on day one. They worked alongside Synerise's developers to build new dashboards while implementing Storybook for long-term scalability.

The team tackled two objectives at once.

We built the features enterprise clients needed right away, including a complete marketing campaign planning module.

We established Storybook as the single source of truth for all UI components. Every button, form field, and data visualization became reusable and documented.

Technologies

-> React, Redux, and Node.js for frontend development

-> Storybook for component library management

"The knowledge and processes they shared with us during the collaboration made us better. We particularly appreciated that they were assertive when necessary and explained how their recommendations and actions would best meet our needs. They were clearly interested in our long-term success."

Process

Team Composition

The Software House maintained a team of at least 3 React frontend developers and 1 QA expert supporting Synerise at any given time.

Timeline

The partnership ran from February 2018 to March 2020.

Development approach

The team worked on two parallel tracks. The first focused on improving existing dashboards and creating new ones, including the critical marketing campaign planning module.

The second track involved implementing Storybook and establishing best practices for its use across the development team.

The QA expert kept all new features and components up to quality standards before release.

Outcome

Synerise grew its client base by 300% in 2018 and won the Microsoft Global Retail Award while delivering the features their enterprise clients demanded.
