Before the cooperation with The Software House began, WieBetaaltWat produced an MVP hybrid application. They successfully validated the basic idea of the app, but it received mixed reviews in terms of performance and user experience.
That’s why, after some time, the company decided to build a native Android app from scratch. And that’s where The Software House enters the stage.

Team formation
To create two native mobile applications and revamp the existing web application, we enlisted a full-time Android developer, 2 iOS developers and additonal frontend Angular developers.
In the final stages of the project, there were a total of 7 people involved on The Software House’s side.

In addition to the mobile applications, we’re responsible for constant improvement of both applications – frontend and backend – as well as their design.
WieBetaaltWat received a very positive feedback and proved to be a success. During the first week, the new app was downloaded over 20,000 times and now it’s reaching a milestone of 1 million downloads. It’s the most popular application of this kind in the Netherlands.
The future
Now, the company’s biggest ambitions is to create a sharing finances application for the whole European market – Splitser.
